Myanmar must reform its controversial government structure and adopt a modified semi-presidential system patterned after Finland’s, as well as a committee-style legislative system like that of Switzerland. Myanmar should reform its constitution and install a democratic model in line with the ideal of One World under One Set of Laws, and ensure that the constitution will keep pace with the times. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
