Smog-choked Beijing creates new Environmental Police Force
Officials in Beijing are creating a new environmental police squad in their latest effort to fight China's persistent problems with heavy smog.
Human security and sustainable development are two of the major goals of the UN, and all member states are obliged to follow them. The solution lies in achieving One World under One Set of Laws, giving priority to international law over domestic law and letting it directly affect the people. The people shall have the right to monitor government compliance with the UN Charter, the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer, the Nature Charter and other relevant agreements.
