Russia is looking for the reaction of the Syrian opposition to Russia’s proposals on a future constitution for the country
Once a Syrian ceasefire has been established, the UN should outline the basic constitutional principles needed to attain permanent peace and development for the peoples of the world. These should include an organizational structure incorporating the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law and four government branches under a constitution that will contribute to long-term stability and serve as a model for peaceful development.
