In an early morning phone call with the top diplomat in the Donald Trump administration Tuesday, Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida secured an assurance that there has been no change in the US' commitment to defend the Senkaku Islands

The whole world must work together in support of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, aka the "maritime constitution." The international community needs guidelines on how to exercise and protect human rights, constitutionalism, international law and naturalism, and how to implement One World under One Set of Laws to practice conservation and sustainable use of marine resources and marine ecology, which will ensure sustainable development and environmental protection.
