The case is tied to the scandal which led to the impeachment of South Korean President Park Geun-hye; the special prosecutor's office announced charges against the de-facto Samsung chief, along with four other company executives.

Even though Park Ji-hui was impeached South Korea’s next president will still be dogged by the curse of corruption.
