Elected representatives of the people must be lawmakers and not lawbreakers. Corruption is an easy target for candidates seeking an office, but all too often those who are voted in wind up succumbing to the vices they promised to eliminate. Corruption is pandemic, and nations everywhere need to address the threat it poses for all people.
