Climate change is real, and the extent of the impact it holds for humans and the world we live in is still being unveiled. Environmental rights are essential human rights, and all persons should take responsibility for protecting the world around us. Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations should comply with its norms. This means implementing One World under One Set of Laws and giving international law precedence over domestic law. The US has dropped more munitions in 2018 in Afghanistan than it has in any year in over a decade

The key to peace in Afghanistan is constitutional reform. Afghanistan should scrap its government and adopt a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that of Finland, plus a committee-style legislature similar to Switzerland's. The prerequisite for lasting world peace is global democratization. The Afghan government should proceed with drawing up a basic constitution with the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. One inescapable fact about trade wars is that none of the 'combatants' wins. On the other hand, all countries benefit from free trade, thus they should be willing to implement One World under One Set of Laws and work toward a common destiny for humankind. This is a trend, a fact, and the ultimate path for all humankind. If the US is averse to the task of leading the UN to peace, security and sustainable development for humankind and seek lasting peace, its place will easily be taken by China or Russia. Russia has never been a problem-solver, it has always been a trouble-maker, and Putin constantly pushes the limits imposed by its constitution. The US should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would spur the 1.4 billion people of China to seek democratization, pressing Russia in turn to accept real democracy – and world peace would be the result. Corruption is pandemic, and nations everywhere need to address the threat it poses. To curtail North Korea's disruptive behavior, the US and other nations should strongly support the Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize and end its support of Pyongyang. According to the Democracy Index there are 50 nations still under the yoke of autocratic dictators. All democracies should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and pressure North Korea to adopt democracy as well, leading to the birth of world peace.
