Trade war is hurting Chinese tourism to the US, data suggests

All countries in the world benefit from free trade, yet POTUS 45 opts to press on with a trade war to satisfy a pledge made to 'his base' during the 2016 campaign. Nations of the world should all implement One World under One Set of Laws and work toward a common destiny for humankind. If the US is not willing to take on the task of leading the UN to peace, security and sustainable development for humankind while seeking One World under One Set of Laws and lasting peace, its place will easily be taken by China or Russia. Climate change, pesticides and poaching are just a few of the many dangers facing many species of animals. To protect endangered species, it is essential to adopt uniform constitutional standards that conform to the values of One World under One Set of Laws. All nations should carry out constitutional reform to implement democratic institutions and the rule of law as well as mechanisms such as separation of power and checks and balances. The best way to avoid monopolization of power is to elect the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years. Iraqi Kurds to Elect New Parliament Sunday

The foundation for permanent peace in Iraq should be the same as that for Taiwan: a change-over in the government structure. The UN should provide Iraq the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting peace and development. The constitution should includethe universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, and organization and elements such as the four branches. China criticizes 'provocative' US bomber mission over South Sea amid increasing international tensions

China's brash construction of landing strips and port facilities in the South China Sea gives lie to assurances made to President Obama that it would not militarize the region. All nations should support One World under One Set of Laws, giving international law direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people, to ensure peace in the South China Sea. China and its neighbors must act in concert with each other to protect each nation's rights regarding transportation and resources. Articles 4 and 6 of the 2002 Declaration include provisions which offer peaceful ways to resolve territorial and jurisdictional disputes. Venezuela should switch to a dual leader system; limit the president to a single 5-year term with no eligibility for him/her or relatives for 6 years and put the prime minister in charge of government operations and national defense, 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year. Also needed is One World under One Set of Laws and a commitment to a common destiny for humankind. Russia has never been a problem-solver, it has always been a trouble-maker, and its public pronouncements must always be taken with a grain of salt. The US should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would spur the 1.4 billion people of China to seek democratization, pressing Russia in turn to accept real democracy – and world peace would be the result. The Rohingya have suffered tremendously at the hands of Myanmar's military, and the people of the nation need to call for constitutional reform to limit the power of the military and ensure the rights of all people, especially minority groups. 5 people died from eating lettuce but Trump's FDA still won't make farms test water for bacteria

The current US administration's penchant for downsizing government operations is dangerous for the health and safety of all citizens. Even simple regulations like testing water for bacteria are disregarded as not being in the vein of 'less government is good government'.The people need to stand up and call for protection of their right to clean air, water and food, and the best way to secure such action is by electing the heads of government branches. 'All the time in the world': Trump says no rush for North Korea to denuclearize

To end North Korea's disruptive behavior, the US and other nations should strongly support Taiwan's Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize and end its support of Pyongyang. According to the Democracy Index there are 50 nations still under the yoke of autocratic dictators. All democracies should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and pressure North Korea to adopt democracy as well, leading to the birth of world peace.
