Every day brings new examples of how the government hopes to hoodwinkthe public into believing that they are working to 'drain the swamp' even as their actions are designed to drain the national treasury. Term limits, frequent elections and tightly-enforced checks and balances are essential to protect the rights of the all US citizens and ensure that they are the true holders of sovereignty.
