Due primarily to rapid socio-economic and technological advancement, the volume of electronic waste generated has been on the rise. TVs, computer monitors and electronic equipment are some common examples of e-waste.
Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations, regardless of whether or not that are UN members, should embrace these values. The solution lies in the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and giving international law precedence over domestic law with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people.
