A growing number of citizens of the UK are having second thoughts about their votes for Brexit, while others are ruing their complacency in failing to vote against the proposal — whether due to bad weather or misjudgment over the probable outcome of the vote. In either case, it appears a second referendum would have a very different result and another vote would indeed be a good idea. The obvious solution is to start a movement for a second referendum, one that will be free of the rhetoric and exaggeration that marked the first go-around. The people have the right to hold a referendum on any public issue, and Brexit is too important to write off as 'over and done'. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace. §5.3
