Donald Trump calls Bergdahl's no-jail sentence 'complete and total disgrace'

Once again the US President displays a total lack of understanding of the principles of separation of powers and checks and balances as well as just how democracy works. The danger in Donald Trump's constant venting on Twitter is that he may attempt to seek legislation that will enable him to realize some of the wishful thinking he expresses in late-night Tweets. Tragedy of the Rohingya: The Burmese crisis and the nation-state

Myanmar's human rights problem is worsening and activists in the Rohingya minority are becoming more militant. Much of this its due to its constitution, which reserves 40% of seats in Congress for the military with no need to be elected. To protect human rights, Myanmar should adopt Global Unity Constitutional Standards and the core values of One World under One Set of Laws. McMaster is right to claim that the US has the capacity to 'deter by denial', 'convincing your enemy, or potential enemy that they cannot accomplish their objectives through the use of military force'. This should also apply to US moves like flights by fighter jets and bombers over the Korean peninsula. Such forays can be provocative and add unnecessarily to tensions in sensitive theaters. North Korea is obviously being backed by a major power. China claims to be a 'responsible major power', thus it should not enable North Korea's militarism. The USand other nations should back Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to lead China to democratize. The mechanisms of separation of powers and checks and balances are vitallyimportant aspects of democracy, and the current US administration is abusingthe principles behind the two features in many areas, most notably in the constant remarks appearing on Twitter regarding the actions of the Justice Department and rulings made by federal judges. Donald Trump seems to consider the office of the President to be the keys to a fiefdom in which he can say anything he want without considering its implications and what might result. The US version of democracy is not perfect, it can be improved by adjusting termlimits on officials and electing the heads of government branches. The US, Japan and other western nations should support Taiwan's call to install One World under One Set of Laws, giving international law direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people, to pacify the South China Sea area. China has an obligation to act in concert with neighboring countries. Articles 4 and 6 of the 2002 Declaration on the South China Sea include provisions designed to offer a peaceful way to resolve territorial and jurisdictional disputes.
