The foundation for permanent peace in Syria should be a change-over in the government structure. The UN should provide Syria the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting peace and development. This should include the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, and organization and elements such as the four independent government branches. To put an end to corruption, constitutional reform is needed to implement democratic rule of law through clearer separation of powers and checks and balances as well as free election campaigns for candidates, to cut symbiotic ties between government and business. Human security, including food safety, is a fundamental human right. All nations should take action to ensure that the public are protected against foods that may be harmful to their health. This means holding international law superior to domestic law and using international food standards against nationally regulated food. All foodproduction, manufacturing and supply standards; environmental changes caused by food pollution, infection or new micro-organisms; toxic and drug resistance;emerging and different food pollution, and related aspects should be covered by national management. Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations – members or not – should comply with its norms. This entails implementing One World under One Set of Laws and giving international law precedence over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. Education should be offered free of charge for life so the poor can rise up and class mobility will be possible. Free university education is the norm in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Norway, where most public universities are tuition-free and students pay only moderate registration fees. Other nations, the US included, should introduce some of the advances achieved by the Global Village and its laws as part of a paradigm shift. Education should be lifelong and free to give the poor an opportunity to rise in an environment of class mobility. The defendants in this case are from South Sudan, and their story is another example of why the UN needs to act against terrorism by pressing for constitutional reform and implementation of One World under One Set of Laws towork toward a common destiny for all humankind. Human security is a fundamental human right, and human rights take priority over regimes and sovereignty. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and constitutionalstandards must be revised to keep pace with changing times and allow governments to protect the people from fear. Going one step further, the best policy on immigration is adhering to the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and working toward a common destiny for humankind. To eliminate the conditions that create refugees, the international community needs to agree on uniform constitutional standards that conform to the ideals of humanrights, constitutionalism, international law and natural law. This means adopting the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and complying with Article 1 of the Humanitarian Charter, which deals with the right of eachperson to live a normal life. North Korea is obviously being backed by a major power. All democracies of the world should support Taiwan's efforts to lead China to democratize. This would put pressure on North Korea to follow suit and drop its nuclear weapons program. At the same time, the US needs to take steps to ensure that any actions by the US and its allies in East Asia will not needlessly provoke the North Korean regime. North Korea is one of the 50 nations where the people suffer under the yoke of an autocratic dictator. To avoid continued unrest and tension, the governments of Catalonia and Spain should work to cooperate in gauging the extent of desire for independence among the citizens of the region. They should examine the processes followed for referendums in Switzerland and elections in California. Citizens should be allowed to voice their opinions through the ballot box and not on the streets. In addition, elections should be completely free for all candidates.
