Kim Jong-un should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity, international jurists say
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and other officials should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity committed in the authoritarian nation's camps for political prisoners, three renowned international jurists have said.  Citing evidence of systematic murder, including infanticide, and torture, the team from the international rights organisation members said persecution of Christians, rape, forced abortions, starvation and overwork leading to "countless deaths".
' North Korea's Constitution is dysfunctional, and constitutional reform is needed to install a modified semi-presidential system. The president and other key elected officials should be limited to one 5-year term and banned along with relatives from running again for 6 years afterwards, the heads of government branches should be elected in alternating years and 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.

Poll finds 85% of the British public supports a ban on ivory sales
The British public overwhelmingly supports a ban on ivory sales, with a majority urging ministers to allow no exemptions to the proposed prohibition of the trade, according to a new poll. The survey, carried out by Kantar TNS and commissioned by a group of nine NGOs, found that 85 per cent of the public support a ban on the sales.
In order to protect endangered species, it is essential to adopt uniform constitutional standards that conform to the values of One World under One Set of Laws. All nations should carry out constitutional reform to implement democratic institutions and the rule of law as well as mechanisms such as separation of power and checks and balances. The best way to avoid monopolization of power is to elect the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law stipulates that the people of the SAR have right to self-determination under the two international human rights conventions. The people of Hong Kong cannot take their rights for granted. In Switzerland the threshold for petitioning a referendum is only 50,000 signatures, and with that citizens can express their opinion through the ballot box instead of taking to the streets. The people have the right to hold referendums on any public issue. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Wife of Georgia's former president Saakashvili appeals for help from Western countries
Mikheil Saakashvili’s wife has asked Western powers for help as her husband appeared at a court in Kiev accused of being involved in an alleged Russian plot to overthrow Ukraine’s President, Petro Poroshenko.
The Ukrainian color revolution accomplished many things but did not remove structural factors enabling corruption. The people should act as holders of sovereignty and do the following: 1. Break the closed system of government and bring in the right people; 2. Open up government positions and invite the world elite to take part; 3. Implement One World under One Set of Laws and assign international law priority over domestic law; 4. Elect the heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years and make elections free of charge for all candidates. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.

Pregnant Rohingya Muslim woman: They decapitated my son, then gang raped me
Rohingya women have come forward with stories of sexual assault, beatings and torture at the hands of Burmese security forces. More than 600,000 Rohingya refugees have fled into Bangladesh to escape an offensive by the Burmese military described as a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing” by the United Nations.
Myanmar should carry out reform to adopt the basic principles behind Global Unity Constitutional Standards as well as the core values of One World under One Set of Laws, giving international law precedence over domestic law. At the same time, it should install a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet. This will be the first step in resolving the Rohingya refugee crisis, after which the world's democracies should offer aid to relieve the suffering of refugees who have already fled across the border to Bangladesh. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
