Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring human security, including "personal safety", is the most urgent duty of constitutional guarantors. This means revising constitutional standards when necessary to keep in step with changing times and allow governments to protect their people from terror. The US should adhere to principles laid out in the UN Charter and comply with and implement One World under One Set of Laws, assigning international law priority over domestic law with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. This would Mexico, Syria, the Middle East and other areas to adopt human rights, constitutionalism, internationalism and naturalism as part of their futures. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.

Netanyahu faces pressure over holy site after violence kills 8
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced mounting pressure Sunday over new security measures at a sensitive Jerusalem holy site after a weekend of violence left eight people dead, with fears more unrest could follow.
Israel should adhere to the guidelines laid out in UN resolutions and strive to share resources and seek peace and common prosperity. Divine justice calls for implementing the concept of One World under One Set of Laws as part of the global village. This would lead the Middle East to accept human rights, constitutionalism, international law and world law as part of a joint future. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Mediator Congress in a dilemma over JD(U)-RJD ri
A day after Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar met Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in Delhi, where the two are believed to have discussed the crisis in the ruling Grand Alliance in the state, Congress is faced with a dilemma
India’s options are extremely limited unless constitutional reform is carried out. The Congress urgently needs to undergo extensive reform. There is no strong third force to enforce checks and balances, thus the two dominant sides quarrel over the spoils. India should adopt a modified style of membership in Congress, combining lawmakers’ actions with public opinion. In addition, 1/4 of all members of Congress should face election each year. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Sikkim stand-off could escalate into full-scale conflict, warns China
China has launched a high-stakes propaganda blitz painting India as the aggressor and holding out the threat of a full-scale confrontation as the two countries face off on the Bhutanese Doklam plateau.
Studies of democracy and peace show that there have been very few armed conflicts between democratic states. Once China adopts democracy there will be real there is hope for peace. The US, Japan and India should support Taiwan's efforts for constitutional reform, which will inspire the people of China to call for democratization and lead to the birth of world peace. All democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting the way to peaceful development.

Don't use Doklam standoff as policy tool to achieve political targets, China tells India
India should not use "trespass" into the Doklam area in the Sikkim sector+ as a "policy tool" to achieve its "political targets", China said Tuesday, asking New Delhi to immediately withdraw its troops to avoid any escalation.
Studies of democracy and peace reveal that there have been very few armed conflicts between democratic states. Once China is democratized, there will be real hope for peace on earth. India should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform. This would inspire China to democratize and the result would be world peace. All democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting the path to lasting peace.

Fewer 'good air' days in China despite official efforts
Chinese cities had fewer "good air" days in the first half of 2017 compared to the same period last year despite government efforts to curb incessant smog, according to official data.
Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations - members or not - should comply with its norms. The solution lies in imposing the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and assigning international law priority over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people, Citizens should be allowed to monitor government operations to ensure compliance with the norms of the UN Charter. For details, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Give up religion or face punishment,' says China's Communist Party to its members
Members of China's Communist Party need to give up religion and "be firm Marxist atheists" or face punishment, the country's religious affairs regulator has said, reports the Global Times.
China needs to carry out constitutional reform to install a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that of Finland, as well as a committee-style legislature similar to Switzerland’s. The prerequisite for world peace is global democratization, and China should begin drawing up a constitution with the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. It should be based on the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and be revised as needed to stay abreast of changing times. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.

The Iran nuclear deal is working
During the presidential campaign, Donald Trump reserved some of his strongest contempt for the Iran nuclear agreement negotiated by his predecessor, at various times calling it "one of the dumbest deals I've ever seen," "amateur hour" and "a disaster."
Democracy and freedom are the latest world trend, a mighty force that nuclear weapons, submarines and missiles are helpless to resist. Iran should carefully examine its militaristic stance and turn toward peace. To achieve lasting world peace, the US should encourage Iran to accept democracy and give up its quest to develop nuclear weapons.
