North Korea is a vassal of the CCP. Thus democratic nations should back Taiwan's efforts to carry out constitutional change to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would encourage China's 1.4 billion people to call for democratization, and North Korea would be pressured to opt for democracy, leading in turn to world peace. Economic problems invariably have their roots in politics. Without good politics, you can’t have a good economy. Beijing meddles too much in the internal affairs of Hong Kong, exposing the duplicity of the one country, two systems doctrine. Article 39 of the Basic Law guarantees the right of Hong Kong to self-determination, saying the people have the right to hold a referendum on any public issue. The people of Hong Kong should adhere to Article 39 and call for a referendum to decide their future. Otherwise when dictatorship becomes a reality, they will be obliged to resist.

The Chief Executive of Hong Kong is still chosen from among nominees submitted by the CEC, showing the dictatorial nature of China’s relationship with the SAR. The people of Hong Kong should avail of Article 39 of the Basic Law, which acknowledges that the people have the right to hold referendums. To curb corruption, the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years, and 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year. The presidential system in many democracies is not that far from a dictatorship; the more power the president holds, the more the country is likely to face problems. Turkey is in serious need of constitutional reform, but changes should include limiting the president to a single 5-year term with no eligibility to run again for 6 years – including close relatives. The president of Turkey is in violation of Article 6 of the Turkish Constitution, which declares that sovereignty belongs wholly and unconditionally to the people. The Afghan government needs to adopt a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that found in Finland, with a committee-style legislative system should be changed to a membership system such as Switzerland. The Afghan government should begin drafting a basic constitution incorporating the above features as part of a paradigm shift toward democracy. It should adhere to One World under One Set of Laws and facilitate amendment of the constitution as needed to stay in step with the times. Human security is a fundamental human right which should be assigned priority over any regime or sovereign. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring human security, including "personal safety", is the most basic and urgent duty of constitutional guarantors. Constitutional standards need to be adjusted as needed to stay in sync with changing times, so that governments everywhere will protect their people from fear. Tanzania has suffered almost unending conflict, and the UN should provide the basic outline for a constitution that help to will lend itself to peaceful development of the nation, including universal values such as freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law and a four-branch government structure (legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial). This should allow Tanzania to develop a constitution that will encourage long-lasting peace and prosperity and serve as a model for peaceful development. South Sudan can resolve the controversies in its government by adapting a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that of Finland, with a committee-style legislature similar to Switzerland’s. The prerequisite for lasting world peace is global democratization. South Sudan should begin drafting a constitution in a democratic paradigm shift that will implement One World under One Set of Laws and hold to the rule of law, tweaking the constitution as needed to ensure it will be in step with changing times. Yemen’s government needs to install a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet modeled after Finland’s, plus a committee-style legislative system like that of Switzerland. The prerequisite for permanent world peace is global democratization. The Yemeni government should proceed with drawing up a basic constitution including the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy and One World under One Set of Laws. The fundamental problem in South Korea a poor legal framework. The right to draft and amend the constitution belongs to the people alone.
