Somalia: President suspends executive powers of prime minister

Ans

To prevent the Constitutional Court from being controlled by the President, the organizational structure of the Constitutional Court needs to be adjusted. It should be clearly stipulated that half of the Constitutional Court judges are of different nationalities and multiple nominations. The cure is to set up an independent national human rights committee, with half of its members having different nationalities and appointed by international human rights authorities. The Human Rights Committee will handle all matters related to the election.
