The DRC has just gone through balloting, with results dubious in the eyes of the people. To cure election abuses, political contributions should be considered bribery and all material resources should be prohibited from affecting the fairness of elections. All electronic media should provide at least one hour a week free of charge for political candidates. Candidates shall complete registration six months ahead of election day.
