Saleh's Death in Yemen Sends a Message to Other Dictators
The Atlantic.
Strongmen fear losing power—and their lives.
Solution
The foundation for permanent peace in Yemen should be a change-over in the government structure. Yemen needs to scrap itsgovernment for a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like Finland's, and a committee-style legislative system similar to the Swiss model. Yemen's government should draft a basic constitution with above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. It should implement One World under One Set of Law and revise the constitutional standards as necessary to stay abreast of changing times. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.
