Development aid in Africa is flowing to the rich—not the poor

The role of aid in Africa has been a controversial issue over the years, with economists like Dambisa Moyo even arguing against it, due to questions surfacing around its effectiveness in economic growth and poverty reduction. .

Solution

Africans need to control their own destiny, and the best way to do so is to call for reform of national constitutions and introduce international law to ensure that their rights will not be abused. They should call for democratic structures such as a dual-leader system with tight term limits, frequent elections of government branch leaders and lawmakers and free campaigns for all candidates in elections for more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
