There has been a fourfold increase in the number of children used as bombers in northeast Nigeria this year, the United Nations Children’s Agency has said. Since the start of the year at least 83 children have been used as human bombs in attacks on civilians and Nigerian military checkpoints.
Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring human security, including "personal safety", is the most urgent duty of constitutional guarantors.
