China’s emphasis on the rule of man over the rule of law is the main cause of corruption, a culture deeply rooted in Chinese history for thousands of years. The vast majority of resources are held by a small number of business corporations and political leaders. There is minimal mobility between social classes and the gap in wealth between rich and poor stands at 100 times. China must address the urban and rural wealth gap and child labor, by carrying out complete constitutional reform.
