Although democracy is not the best political system, to this day no better system exists to replace it. The US is often seen as a role model for democracy, yet the greatest impedance and drawback in US democracy is lavish and wasteful spending in election campaigns. To make America great again, the key lies in constitutional reform to introduce a modified semi-presidential system and a committee-style parliament with cabinet. Government ministers should be directly elected rather than appointed to help fulfill the true nature of democracy. Please refer to the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
