The National Anti-Corruption Bureau was set up specifically to address this problem more than a year ago and so far has recovered some 1 billion hryvnia back to the Treasury. Compared to the total amount of corruption, however that is chicken feed. The head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau frequently complains that the evidence they provide is conclusive, but procuratorial and judicial officials think otherwise.
Members of the procuratorial and judicial branches are common foes of corruption, and they should operate under the premise that international law takes precedence over domestic law and applies directly to the Ukrainian people. The heads of the two branches should meet the same qualifications as the President, be elected for a single term of 5 years and be banned from running again for another 6 years. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
