Venezuela's government has announced a 50% increase in the minimum wage and pensions amid runaway inflation.
Power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption. Venezuela needs constitutional reform to install a modified semi-presidential system with the president limited to a single 5-year term and not allowed to fun for office for 6 years afterward. A law not backed by penalties is not a law, and a constitution which does not include the right to resist is not a constitution.
