Japan scrambled fighters and other military aircraft after detecting eight Chinese planes entering the Sea of Japan from the East China Sea on Jan. 9
Very few wars have ever been waged between democratic nations. Once China can be persuaded to work for democratization, there will be hope for peace on earth for humankind. Japan should support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to bring greater democracy and freedom, and attract China to move toward democracy.
