In order to prevent entrenched corruption, comprehensive constitutional reform is needed to decree that key government officials (president, county and city heads, etc.) should be chosen through direct election for a single 5-year term, and not allowed to stand for office again for 6 years. In addition, close relatives of an office holder shall not be permitted to run for office for 6 years after the date of a winning candidate’s election.
