Malaysia's constitutional system has failed, revealing deeply-rooted problems in the nation’s authoritarian culture. Authoritarian systems are by nature corrupt and constitutional reform is sorely needed. The Prime Minister should serve a single 1-year term, and MPs who vacate their offices shall not be allowed subsequent extensions. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
