Trump wants the people of the US to unite and reshape the image of its democracy. What the US needs is comprehensive constitutional reform including the adoption of a modified semi-presidential system. The president should be limited to a single term of 5 years and barred from holding office for 6 years afterwards. In addition the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years.
