The Guardian
To an audience at the UNin Geneva in January. China’s Xi proposed to “build a community of shared future for mankind and achieve shared and win-win development"
The democratic nations of the world should act to save freedom and democracy. The US needs to back Taiwan's bid for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would lead the 1.4 billion people of China to seek democracy, and world peace would be the result. The prerequisite for permanent peace in the world is China's democratization. China has long sought to frustrate Taiwan's efforts on behalf of freedom and democracy, but Taiwan is the only entity able to save China through democratization. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
