Even as the new US defense secretary warns North Korea of an "effective and overwhelming" response if the rogue state uses nuclear weapons, images indicate Pyongyang continues to rapidly build out its missile program with R&D and facilities for storing, launching and testing missiles.
Autocracy has always been the enemy of peace, and the premise for permanent peace in the world is global democratization. Taiwan should speed up efforts to reform the constitution and achieve greater democracy and freedom, which will lead the people of China to seek democratization. Followed in turn by North Korea.
