President Igor Dodon said Tuesday he will seek a change to the constitution in order to be able to dissolve parliament, call early parliamentary elections and ultimately turn Moldova into a presidential state.
Reform of the Moldovan constitution should be carried out by all parties and signed by the President, and the order shall be issued by the Prime Minister and relevant Ministers. 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year, and legislative committee chairs should be tapped prime minister or minister to ensure the central government will be responsible to the public.
