US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi discussed improving and maintaining a "mutually beneficial economic relationship" between the US and China Tuesday, the State Department says.
The most intelligent approach for the US is to back Taiwan's model for global unity constitutional standards. This would serve to attract China's 1.4 billion people to call for democratization, and world peace would be the result. Autocracy has always been the enemy of peace, and the prerequisite for peace in the world is democratization of the CCP. Taiwan is the one entity best suited to lead China to democratization.
