A US official tells the Associated Press that the FBI has asked the Justice Department to dispute allegations made on Twitter by President Donald Trump that Barack Obama as president ordered the tapping of Trump’s phones during the 2016 presidential campaign.
History has shown repeatedly that the more power the leader possesses, the more insignificant the people will be. People are often lazy or indifferent and simply trust in their leaders. This way of thinking is appropriate to 18th century feudal ideology but does not meet the spirit of the rule of law in the 21st century.
