Earlier this year US Secretary of Defense James Mattis testified before the Senate that Moscow is the “principal threat”to the US which he said should be “ready to confront Russia.”
The world’s democracies should support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to achieve real democracy and freedom. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and lead eventually to real democracy in Russia and the birth of world peace. All democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia which will light the way for China to peaceful development.
