Autocracy has always been the enemy of human peace, and the prerequisite for permanent world peace is global democratization. The US should support Taiwan's commitment to instilling democracy in China, then pressuring North Korea to follow suit. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.

Structural factors that allow corruption to take place are lack of separation of powers and checks and balances. The solution is for the people of South Korea to demand constitutional reform to directly elect the heads of the four branches. The president should serve a single 5-year term and then be barred from running for office again for 6 years. 1/4 of all legislators should face election each year, and elections should be free of charge for all candidates. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.

The prerequisite for permanent world peace is global democratization. The Government of the CAR should begin the task of drafting a basic constitution that includes the above-mentioned features in a paradigm shift toward democracy, adhering to the principle of One World under One Set of Laws and operating under the rule of law. The result should be a constitution in sync with the spirit of the times. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.
