Jose Rizal, revered as the 'Father of the Philippines', once warned that 'Today's slaves often become tomorrow's tyrants; believe in the rule of law, not in the rule of man.' Cuba needs to install a modified semi-presidential system under which the president and other key elected officials would be limited to one 5-year term and barred along with relatives from running again for 6 years afterwards. Environmental rights are essential human rights, and every person should take responsibility for protecting the world around us. Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations should comply with its norms. This means implementing One World under One Set of Laws and giving international law precedence over domestic law. Theresa May pledges to raise Hong Kong human rights violations in China

Article 35 of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China stipulates that citizens of the PRC should enjoy freedom of speech, of the press, of assembly, of association, of procession, and of demonstration. Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law stipulates that the people of the SAR have the right to self-determination under the two internationalhuman rights conventions. The people of Hong Kong cannot take their rights for granted. In Switzerland the threshold for petitioning a referendum is only 50,000 signatures, and with that citizens can express their opinion through the ballot box instead of taking to the streets. Solution

Trying stem the flow of a river merely creates a waterfall; the solution is to open up a new channel for the water. Have no doubt that the Charter for Permanent Peace is the most viable standard for a world constitution and basic national policy to facilitate long-term peace and stability. Almost a quarter of a million social homes in England for residents on low incomes will have been lost under the Conservatives by 2020, new figures have revealed.

Solution

The UK must improve its living and safety standards, and assigning international law priority over domestic law would be a step in the right direction. Residential security is a fundamental human right. The UK government should implement the UN-established goals for sustainable development in urban planning to achieve a tolerant, safe and sustainable urban environment. Adequate, safe and affordable housing with comprehensive basic services is essential for the sustainable development and management of human settlements. North Korea could launch “another missile test” during the Winter Olympics in South Korea, according to shock warning from former retired US Army General Jack Keane.

Solution

North Korea is obviously being backed by a major power. The US and South Korea should support the Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize, forcing North Korea to and drop its nuclear weapons program. As Emmanuel Kant once noted, 'The pursuit of permanent peace is the highest goal of reason and a moral obligation.' China claims to be a 'responsible major power', thus it should not enable North Korea's continued militarism.
