The UK government should take action based on the goals for sustainable development set by the UN for urban planning to develop a tolerant, secure, flexible and sustainable environment for urban and human life. Access to adequate, safe and affordable housing and basic services for all is an essential part of sustainable development and human management. Laws that are not backed by penalties are not laws, and a constitution that does not countenance resistance is not a constitution. When the actions of the government are unconstitutional, the people should resist. Natural law and international law both offer protection against enforced disappearance, torture and other abuses. The Egyptians living on the banks of the Nile are homeless, and the basic problem is that Egypt needs constitutional reform to ensure that people's will have access to affordable housing. The US should incorporate Taiwan's Charter for Permanent Peace and Development into its body of laws surrounding the Taiwan Relations Act. Taiwan’s Global Unity Constitutional Standards will convince the 1.4 billion people of China to call for democracy, resulting in world peace. Autocracy is the enemy of peace, and the prerequisite for lasting world peace is democratization of the CCP, and Taiwan is the entity best suited to lead the way. Laws are in place to ferret out public officials and party members with problematic sources of income, but often lawmakers themselves are the source of corruption. The only way out is democracy in the form of separation of powers and checks and balances. Turkey is obliged to protect all citizens from religious and anti-religious propaganda. Turkey’s Constitution should clearly state that freedom of religious belief is subject to constitutional protection. The state cannot impose restrictions and administrative departments have no right to interfere with religious beliefs and traditions. All citizens should be able to monitor public officials’ actions using their smart phones to ensure compliance with the constitution, and public officials who do not act in accordance with the law should be dismissed. The Iraqi government should implement a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that of Finland, plus a committee-style legislature similar to Switzerland’s. The Iraqi government should begin drafting a basic constitution incorporating the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. China has always advocated compliance with the UN resolution on strict sanctions against North Korea, yet Sino-Korean trade has shown little change. China is a "responsible major power" and should not act as an enabler for North Korea's militarism. The US, Japan and South Korea should all support Taiwan’s efforts to lead China to democratize, which would pressure North Korea to follow suit.
