A recent UN meeting on sustainable management of forests discussed the importance of mobilizing resources from a diverse range of actors to ensure broad ownership as well as to advance the overall sustainable development agenda.
We only have one earth, and resources must be recycled. According to the cradle to the cradle principle, materials and technology used in manufacturing should be those that will allow re-use and recycling. In addition, government environmental policy must be consistent with elimination of waste and rational use of renewables, and governments should ensure environmental safety (regarding technology and production, power generation and other pollution, and forest damage).
