Xi’s political theory is ‘basically complete’ and set to shape China’s governance for years to come
Regardless of who is sits on the throne, absolute power inevitably breeds absolute corruption, thus the powers of the ruler must be limited to avoid abuse of power. China is not a democracy and its constitutional problems are daunting. Xi Jinping wants to "put power in the system into a cage," but that is likely to translate to putting China's 1.3 billion people behind bars.
