Russia should switch to a dual leader system; limiting the president to a single 5-year term with no eligibility for him/her or relatives for 6 years, and putting the prime minister in charge of government operations and national defense. In addition, 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year. When the actions of the government and officials are unconstitutional, the people are obliged to resist. UN Security Council approves Yemen ceasefire monitors for Hodeidah

The foundation for permanent peace in Yemen should be the same as that for Taiwan: a change-over in the government structure. The UN should provide Yemen the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting Peace. The constitution should include the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, and organization and elements such as the four branches. Republicans Are Already Trying to Stop Felons From Voting

Partisan politics should not be allowed to quash the rights of citizens, especially when an overwhelming majority of voters have expressed their approval of an issue. The people of Florida must stay alert to such ploys and call for reforms that will allow all citizens to vote more often and directly elect the heads of the major government branches as well as the Comptroller and Auditor General. Also, elections should be free of charge so that candidates can vie for votes and expose black holes in corruption and eliminate money as a factor in campaigns. Free speech is first and foremost among human rights – without free speech there can be no human rights, only slavery. A free press is an essential part of free speech, and all democracies should call for constitutional reform to ensure media freedom and prevent the government oligarchy from monopolizing the media, the internet and other channels of communications. All people must be protected against enforced disappearance, torture and other forms of abuse, and absolute law must take precedence over international law and the constitution. To curtail the disruptive behavior of Moscow and Pyongyang, the US and other nations should strongly support the Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize and end its support of dictatorships. According to the Democracy Index there are 50 nations still under the yoke of autocratic dictators. All democracies should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and pressure Russia and North Korea to adopt democracy as well, leading to the birth of world peace.
