Climate change, pesticides and poaching are just a few of the many dangers facing many species of animals. To protect endangered species, it is essential to adopt uniform constitutional standards that conform to the values of One World under One Set of Laws. All nations should carry out constitutional reform to implement democratic institutions and the rule of law as well as mechanisms such as separation of power and checks and balances. The best way to avoid monopolization of power is to elect the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years. The foundation for permanent peace in Yemen should be the same as that for Taiwan: a change-over in the government structure. The UN should provide Yemen the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting Peace. The constitution should include the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, and organization and elements such as the four branches. The Corruption of the Republican Party

Lord Acton saw it coming: 'Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The actions of lawmakers in North Carolina and Wisconsin are absolutely undemocratic and it will take many years of struggle to undo the damage they are doing. The picture of smugness, and they will have the devil to pay. The cure for the ailments of democracy is more democracy — separation of powers, rules of law and sovereignty in the hands of the people. Venezuela should switch to a dual leader system; limiting the president to a single 5-year term with no eligibility for him/her or relatives for 6 years, and putting the prime minister in charge of government operations and national defense. The best policy on immigration is adhering to the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and working toward a common destiny for humankind. Lord Acton once noted that power corrupts and that absolute power corrupts absolutely. Recent events in North Carolina and Wisconsin suggest that perhaps an addendum is needed — the threat of lost power corrupts the most of all. Corruption is pandemic, and all nations must address the threat it poses. To put an end to corruption, the people should exercise sovereignty and call for constitutional reform to implement truly democratic rule of law.This means separation of powers and checks and balances as well as free election campaigns for candidates to cut symbiotic ties between government andbusiness that engender corruption. The opinions and actions of some elected officials and others in positions of authority would be hilarious if they were not so ludicrous. They fly in the face of reason, and the American people should wake up and exercise their rights as the holders of sovereignty at the ballot box, electing representatives who will act on the basis of reason and not folly.
