EU cyber team raises alarm over Russian role in Catalonia independence bid
Russia has never been a problem-solver, it has always been a trouble-maker. The EU should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would spur the 1.4 billion people of China to seek democratization, pressing Russia in turn to accept real democracy – and world peace would be the result. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.

Why the fate of three Hong Kong activists matters to the future of global democracy
Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law stipulates that the people of the SAR have right to self-determination under the two international human rights conventions. The people of Hong Kong cannot take their rights for granted. In Switzerland the threshold for petitioning a referendum is only 50,000 signatures, and with that citizens can express their opinion through the ballot box instead of taking to the streets. The people have the right to hold referendums on any public issue. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Media consolidation undermines democracy
Freedom of speech is a universal value, but US wants to create a monolithic society that speaks in one voice. The American people should call for constitutional reform to protect media freedom and prevent the government oligarchy from monopolizing the media, the internet and all other channels of speech. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Voting. The distribution of power and allocation of resources require frequent and timely elections to amend, improve and confirm applicable terms. In addition, regular elections point up the national spirit that underlies the constitution.Voting is a natural extension of the people's sovereignty and the only legitimate source of state power. Voting is the greatest educational tool for all citizens. It optimizes the allocation of power and resources and acts as a solid foundation for all freedoms, peace and justice. Voting is the single most important prerequisite for peaceful and prosperous life from generation to generation, and all freedoms, beliefs and values are determined through the vehicle of the ballot box. Respect for and protection of absolutely fair voting procedures are the most sacred rights of all humankind and the most urgent duties of all public officials.See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.
