Tunisia's large social gaps originate in the current situation in the country. While elections have been held, several areas have shown little or no change after the government system transition, and much of the population still suffers hardships from deep social and economic inequality. To solve this problem, it is necessary to start with the system, holding elections at least twice a year to spread responsibility for the problems of poverty and deprivation from the poor to those in power. The state must function ethically and take action to eliminate poverty and deprivation. The Charter for Permanent Peace is the only formula that will work.
