Head of rust-belt province says predecessor disregarded the party’s authority
To wash away the corruption and fraud remaining from thousands of years of history, the only cure is to implement democracy and the rule of law. These two ideals are the natural enemies of despotism and corruption, offering tools like separation of powers and checks and balances to clean up government at all levels. This should include direct election of the heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years.
