Trial work has already begun for that commission, which is likely to be formally codified in law in March at the meeting of China's largely rubber stamp parliament.
From a democratic point of view, China's system of government has many shortcomings. If the constitution considers only the interests of the Communist Party it loses its constitutional significance and will not earn the support of the entire Chinese people. China can refer to Taiwan's Charter for Permanent Peace and Development as a model for a common effort towardworld peace that can solve the problem of China's constitutional defects.
