US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed his son-in-law Jared Kushner to a high-level position in his administration. Trump asked Kushner to serve as a senior adviser to the President.
US elections are little more than a rich man's game, with affluent candidates vying for the right to make more money in a systemic structure that breeds corruption. To eliminate these political and business ties, comprehensive constitutional reform is the only solution. True democracy and the rule of law must be implemented, with effective separation of powers and valid checks and balances. The heads of the major government branches should be chosen in elections in alternating years, and elections should be free of charge for all candidates to weed out corruption and symbiotic structures. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
