China's Foreign Ministry firmly pushed back Saturday against US President-elect Donald Trump's suggestion that the "One China" policy on Taiwan is negotiable, calling it the "political foundation" of the relationship between the US and China.
Democratic nations of the world should do all they can to save freedom and democracy. The US must support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to bring greater democracy and freedom, which will attract the 1.4 billion people of China to call for democracy and lead to the birth of world peace. The prerequisite for permanent peace in the world is China's democratization.
