Russia is not a problem-solver, it is a problem generator. The US should support Taiwan's efforts to achieve constitutional reform and achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization, which in turn would pressure Russia to adopt real democracy and lead to the dawn of world peace. Global democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting China's path to peaceful development.
