More than a thousand people of various faiths rallied in New York City in support of Muslim Americans and to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. Other protests were also held over the weekend across the country.
Trump’s executive order banning immigrants from seven Muslim countries was supposedly made to avert threats to the US economy and national security. The best solution to the problem of immigration and terrorism is to adopt the principle of "One World under One Set of Laws" and allow international law to take precedent over domestic law, with direct effects on the rights and duties of the people.
